I am a lot of things....I am a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, and a friend. I inspire to be a lot of things in life, but the one thing I want to do with my life is to help others. Life has many paths, twists and turns and like many people I have been down a lot of these....some of these path choices I've made were positive choices....many were not, but by making mistakes in life I have learned that no matter how strong you think you are...everyone at some point needs a hand to reach out to...I inspire to be that hand.

RIP Deejay.  I’ve lost a lot of friends because of drugs and alcohol and each time this happens it hurts as much as the first. Please people take care of your bodies and be safe!  He was a beautiful soul and he will be missed by many.  To think how many times this easily could have been the outcome for my life when I was a heavy drug user scares me. I’ve come so close to death yet for some reason I pulled through. I guess not everyone is as lucky as I am. =[

Lotte Reiniger, The Adventures of Prince Achmed, 1926

I love this film and have posted something on it before. It’s a silent, German animated fairytale film that predates Disney. The story is based on elements taken from the collection 1001 Arabian Nights, specifically The Story of Prince Ahmed and the Fairy Paribanou featured in Andrew Lang’s The Blue Fairy Book.
